Welcome

Somerset Parent Partnership Service

We are a free service providing impartial information, advice and guidance to all parents and carers of children with special educational needs (SEN).

The service is statutory and funded by Somerset County Council. We work closely with other agencies and the voluntary sector in Somerset.

We aim to:

  • provide advice and information to parents whose children have special educational needs;
  • provide neutral and factual support on all aspects of the SEN framework to help parents play an active and informed role in their child's education
  • encourage genuine partnership between parents and carers, their child's school, the Local Authority and other agencies.
